I'm Jennifer.

I am a Product Designer with strong abilities to combine innovative design tools and methodologies with an empathetic, user-centered focus gained from my past teaching and art/design background.  I have 5 years of experience working as a designer and two years of experience working as a UX/UI designer. I enjoy the challenge of creating engaging visual design experiences that help people interact with the world in a smarter, easier, and enjoyable manner.

I discovered opportunities in UX and UI where design can fundamentally change experience and the way people learn. Subjects that were very intimidating to me became so easy. I realized how the power of art and design can enable self-learning. One person can achieve much more through a well-designed experience.  Since then, helping people learn and achieve more has become the motivation and the goal of my work.

As an experienced designer, I am passionate about listening to users, uncovering their core needs, and building solutions that go beyond their expectations. I like to enable self-learning and turn complex problems into simple and enjoyable experiences through compelling visuals and insightful research.
